Terms of service

Last updated: October 28, 2026

In short

  • For businesses only, not for consumers.
  • 14 days free. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
  • Monthly or annual, renewing until you cancel at the end of a period.
  • Your content stays yours. For your end users’ data we are your processor, under a data processing agreement.

This summary is for orientation. What applies are the sections below.

1. Scope

These terms apply to every contract about RondiLoop between Tobias Schäfer (BuildIT Consulting) (“we”, “us”) and you as our customer. RondiLoop is a hosted service for collecting feedback, planning a roadmap and publishing a changelog.

We offer RondiLoop to businesses only: entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 BGB (German Civil Code), legal persons under public law and special funds under public law. By signing up you confirm that you act for a business. Consumers cannot enter into a contract.

Your own terms and conditions do not apply, even if we do not object to them.

2. Contract

The pages of this website are not a binding offer. You make an offer when you sign up, choose a plan and enter your payment details. The contract is formed when we confirm it by email or open your workspace, whichever comes first.

The contract is made in English or German, in the language you sign up in.

With the confirmation we email you these terms, so you can save them. The current version is also on this page.

3. Trial

Every new workspace starts with a free trial of 14 days, once per customer. You enter your payment details when you sign up; nothing is charged during the trial.

When the trial ends, the plan you chose starts and its first billing period is charged, unless you cancelled before the end of the trial. We remind you by email before the trial ends.

4. The service

What RondiLoop includes is described on this website and in the plan you choose when you sign up. We develop RondiLoop further and may change or replace features where that is reasonable for you and what your plan promises stays available in substance.

Some features work with services you connect yourself, such as GitHub or your own domain. Their providers’ terms apply to them. We are not responsible for their availability or for changes they make to their interfaces.

The AI features (Claude by Anthropic) make suggestions and drafts. They can be wrong, so check them before you accept or publish anything. You can switch the AI features off for each project.

5. Availability

RondiLoop runs on servers in the EU. We aim to keep it available around the clock but do not promise a fixed availability.

Where maintenance interrupts the service, we announce it in advance when we can and schedule it for quiet hours. We are not responsible for outages caused by events outside our control, such as failures of the internet or of other networks.

6. Prices and payment

The prices are those shown when you order: a flat price per workspace, paid in advance for each month or year, plus VAT where it applies.

Payments are processed by Stripe with the payment methods offered at checkout. Each billing period is charged at its start. You receive the invoice by email.

If a payment fails, we let you know and try again. If it is still open 14 days later, we may pause the workspace until it is paid.

We may change prices for future billing periods. We tell you by email at least six weeks before a change takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel with effect from the date of the change.

7. Term and cancellation

After the trial, the contract runs for the billing period you chose (a month or a year) and renews for the same period unless it is cancelled.

You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the trial or of the current billing period, in text form, for example by email to hello@rondiloop.com. We can cancel with one month’s notice to the end of a billing period. Fees already paid for the current period are not refunded, unless you cancel for good cause for which we are responsible; we then refund the share for the time after the contract ends.

Both sides keep the right to terminate for good cause without notice. Good cause for us includes in particular a payment more than 30 days overdue, or a serious breach of section 8 that you do not stop after a warning.

8. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the content that you and your end users put into RondiLoop and for what you publish on your public pages. Do not use RondiLoop for anything unlawful, for spam, or in a way that infringes the rights of others.

Keep your sign-in details secret and tell us without delay if you think someone else has used them. You may only connect domains and GitHub repositories that you are entitled to use.

If content clearly breaks the law or these terms, or if the way RondiLoop is used puts the service or other customers at risk, we may block the content or the access concerned. We tell you, and lift the block once the cause is gone.

You hold us harmless from claims by third parties that arise from a breach of this section for which you are responsible.

9. Data protection

For the personal data that RondiLoop processes on your behalf, such as your end users’ feedback and email addresses, you are the controller and we are your processor. The data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is part of the contract; it lists the subprocessors.

How we handle data about you as our customer, and about visitors to this website, is described in our privacy policy.

10. Your content

The content you put into RondiLoop stays yours. You grant us the rights we need to provide the service: to store and process it, and to show it on the public pages you switch on.

You can export your workspace’s data yourself during the contract and for at least 30 days after it ends, in a common, machine-readable format (JSON and CSV). The export covers the feedback with its details, the roadmap and changelog entries, and your projects’ settings. It doesn’t cover our software, credentials for connected services (such as GitHub) or our operational logs.

If you want to move to another provider or to your own infrastructure, you can ask for that at any time with two months’ notice (Art. 23 et seq. Data Act). We then support you during a transition period of 30 days; the contract ends once the switch is complete. We charge nothing for switching.

Once the export period has passed, we delete your workspace’s data completely. Backups are overwritten within a further 14 days.

11. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the Product Liability Act, and where we have given a guarantee.

For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation, meaning an obligation that makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely. In that case our liability is limited to the damage that is foreseeable and typical for this kind of contract.

Otherwise our liability is excluded. These limits also apply to our employees, representatives and vicarious agents.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms for the future if there is a valid reason, such as a change in the law or in the service. We send you the changes by email at least six weeks before they take effect. This is never used to change the core services or the prices; prices follow section 6.

If you do not object in text form before then, the changes apply; we point this out in the email. If you object, the contract continues on the old terms, and either side may cancel it with effect from the date the change would have taken effect.

13. Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

If you are a merchant, a legal person under public law or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Maxdorf. We may also bring proceedings at your registered office.

If a provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the rest remain valid.

These terms exist in German and English. If the two differ, the German version prevails.
