A Nolt alternative built around GitHub releases

Nolt is a flat-priced board with voting, a roadmap and a changelog, on the market since 2018. RondiLoop is younger and narrower. It has no voting yet, and puts its effort into what happens after you decide: in GitHub, and in the email to the people who asked. It’s in early access.

Topic RondiLoop Nolt
What you pay for One flat price per workspace, monthly or annual, with unlimited end users and feedback. Announced at launch. A flat rate per plan with unlimited users and admins; plans differ in boards and integrations. Essential $29 a month billed annually ($39 monthly), Pro $69 ($89). No free plan; a 10-day trial.
Where the data is Servers in the EU. Mail through Brevo (France), error reports on our own servers. AI through Anthropic (USA), with personal data masked first; it can be switched off per project. AWS, and Heroku according to its security page; the region of the global service isn’t stated. A separate EU instance at eu.nolt.io keeps data in the EU, from €39 a month billed annually.
GitHub A GitHub App. A roadmap item becomes an issue; a pull request moves the card to In progress, the merge to Shipped. Webhooks plus a nightly re-sync. An app from the GitHub Marketplace: creates issues from posts, automatically or on demand, and keeps their status in sync with sync rules.
Changelog When you publish a GitHub release, AI drafts the release notes from its merged pull requests. You edit them and publish. Built in and on by default. AI drafts entries from feedback posts or from your repository’s commits, saved as drafts for review.
Telling people it shipped Publishing emails everyone who left an address with a request that shipped, quoting what they asked for. A status change emails the author, commenters, upvoters and subscribers by default. The changelog can be emailed to subscribers.
Widget One script tag, under 10 KB. No cookies, nothing loaded from third parties. A modal, an iframe or a button on your site, with SSO.
Voting and comments Not yet. Similar requests are merged into one roadmap item, which shows how many people asked. Yes, both, with optional downvotes and duplicate detection.
Other integrations None besides GitHub. No GitLab, Linear, Jira or Slack. Jira, Linear, Trello, Asana, monday.com, Slack, Discord and more. Two-way sync with GitHub, Linear, Trello and Jira.
Self-hosting No. Hosted only; whether it goes open source isn’t decided. Not offered, as far as its own pages show.
